THE BEAUTY EDIT - RECAP

Last weekend we had the opportunity to run a beauty/makeup workshop with the gorgeous Katrina from KV Makeup Artistry and boy-oh-boy it was so much fun! Imagine a whole arvo talking skin care, makeup do's and don'ts, getting your brows done, sipping beautiful Moscato (Brown Brothers) and playing make-up.
A little message from KV herself:
The first ever Beauty Edit! Can't believe it's come and gone and I just want to take this opportunity again to thank everyone for their support, especially to all those who were able to attend. Eliska approached me last year about putting together a Beauty workshop and at first I wasn't confident or sure about how people would respond to me as a Professional Beauty Influencer but I took the opportunity and went with it. Although I've been in the industry long enough, there's always some doubt in any creative's mind - am I good enough to be teaching what I love and what I'm good at?
Eliska's experience in running workshops in the past was a great confidence booster to get me started and brainstorm ideas about what I wanted to teach and how I wanted to run my first workshop. Her motivation inspired me to customise a Beauty workshop that would appeal to the everyday working woman. My aim has always been to help other women alike to feel confident and beautiful with a minimalist approach.
Post event, I feel truly blessed to be working alongside so many creative minds and feel that if you want to take the next step in business, just do it. Moving forward, I hope to be able to continue these workshops and help inspire more women to take the time and be more serious about self love and care too. Beauty starts within x
With The Studio Melbourne being our playground, it was a celebration of beauty and self-confidence and sharing the importance of knowing how to take care of yourself. Beauty quotes handpicked by Katrina herself and calligraphed by the amazing Cathy of Kyashi Writes served as great reminders for all the beauties who attended and spent their arvo with us.
