A Week To Remember

Friday, April 18, 2014

Starting a gratitude journal can really put things into perspective. I have had such a great week so far that I just have to share it with you guys.

Hitched Magazine Feature
So thrilled to see our Garden Glamour shoot featured in Hitched Magazine's blog. I have been a big fan of their magazine so to be part of their blog is definitely a little something to celebrate about. Yay! Wait for a full post on some of our favorite shots from the shoot in the next few days.

Camp Quality
I just love it when people go the extra mile to help out and thanks to Jade I have been able to help an awesome organisation like Camp Quality who is hosting a celebration dinner for all the kids. We definitely had a blast putting everything together (especially that photo booth backdrop)!

Babies & Business at Cristina Re
Lucky to have attended Babies & Business and assisted with a great get together for mums and generally women in business. It sure has proven to me how inspiring mums are. I was fortunate enough to meet ladies who have juggled nappy changes and client meetings doing what they love to do. That's right! Female power all the way!

Then imagine absorbing all that wisdom in the prettiness of Cristina Re's space - perfect way to spend a Saturday arvo!

Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre Tour
I was thrilled be invited by Jade from Event Head to be part of MCEC's afternoon tea. I have attended a few events there but to have backstage tour of their facilities, meeting rooms and especially their huge kitchen is amazing! (Which by the way is the largest kitchen in the southern hemisphere! How cool is that!)

The best part was meeting the staff and seeing how much work goes through each and every event held there. But I won't deny how great it was when they brought us to the Melbourne Room for a feast prepared by the wonderful chefs while enjoying the best view of Melbourne.

Short Trip to Hong Kong
I was so excited to go back to Hong Kong and see it in such a different light. I've visited HK since I was a kid but now it's all about getting inspirations from new places and discovering new food.
One thing you might not know about me is that I'm a big fan of Hello Kitty so it was a given that we have to stop by the Hello Kitty Cafe in SOGO haha Why is it that holidays are always not long enough ;P

Hope you all had a wonderful week too!
